Pause

I just paused the paid subscriptions on this Substack. I appreciate them,¹ but I don’t need the money and have always felt slightly ridiculous even offering paid subscriptions as an option.

But lately I’ve been feeling the pull to write offline, to write by hand, and I want to try to participate in 1000 Words of Summer again this year. It may be quiet around here for a little bit, so it didn’t feel fair to charge people when there might not be much content. We’ll see.
